nice to meet you!

I'm Bryony, a dual Content/Product Designer with 6+ years of experience in content and 3+ in product design. I have a Bachelor's in English Literature/Creative Writing and a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction. I currently work as a UX Writer and Content Strategist at Verizon (previously: The Met).

a little more about me

Why UX design?

I've always been curious about the "whys" of everything and understanding what makes people tick. Combined with being an avid arts lover my whole life, it was a field that perfectly combined creativity with problem solving!

I made the move from my hometown of Montreal to NYC in 2022. Since then, I've been enjoying designing polished products that offer rewarding and meaningful experiences to their users. I believe in doing what’s possible to make everyone’s lives feel lighter, especially in digital spaces. Gamified design, VUI, streaming, and shopping experiences are some of my passions in the field.

Some of my hobbies

When I'm not in a UX deep-dive, you can usually find me:

Reading up on the latest theories about the show "Severance"

Dodging dubious microbiomes when sea kayaking in the Hudson River

Exploring the East Coast by train

Selling a kidney to Ticketmaster so I can see a concert

My most recent roles

Verizon - UX Writer and Content Strategist

2024-Present

The Metropolitan Museum of Art - Product Design Fellow

2023-24

The Center for Digital Experiences - Design Systems Research Assistant & UX Consultant

2022-24
